If I recall correctly there is a question about your age being 18. If you say no then they insist that an adult come forward, and I think give a credit card number and all. However, truthfully if YOU are over 18 you answer correctly by saying yes. Just go ahead.

As any parent should you need to decide how much you oversee what your child does on the internet.

sample surveyMyeshahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02844319678770988822noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5454351649161893251.post-26722209839992502002010-05-24T21:48:00.001-07:002010-05-24T21:48:27.279-07:00Ron is decaesed now did his email account get deleted?ronchowchillatruck@msn.com. he passed away feb 9 2008 and i was left a note from him on his email account only i cant find it anymore! please help me to move on and get over this!

Ron is decaesed now did his email account get deleted?
It's possible that his account was deactivated after no one logged-in to the account for a while.
Reply:No. Email account have to be deleted after you log on with his ID and password. When I opened my box, there were no new messages. Now I'm getting an error that says unusual activity has occured and I am suspended from sending, receiving for 48 hours. I have sent an email to Yahoo help, but I was wondering if anyone else was having any problems.

Are weird things happening to your Yahoo email account?
Yahoo has been having major server issues since at LEAST Jan. 10, seemingly just with particular servers. And what's happening to you (including the "phantom" e-mails) is unfortunately one of the many problems that people are having because of them, and Yahoo doesn't seem to be in any particular hurry to solve them. Their "tech support" is nothing but a joke right now. And the problems are not just w/Yahoo Beta or IE7; I and others not using either are having similar problems. But both do have more problems; if you're using Beta, it's still in the testing stage and has a lot of problems, so go back to original Yahoo mail, and the same w/IE7, go back to IE6 until MS irons out all the problems.

I've had to use another acct.provided free by my ISP to send/rcv important e-mails since Jan. 10, and it's been working just fine the whole time. If you don't have another acct.w/another provider besides Yahoo, I'd strongly advise to get one; it makes a good backup in case of problems like this.

Please see my posting from Fri. Jan. 12 under the heading "Anyone having problems of any kind w/Yahoo Mail, PLEASE READ THIS" for more info and on reporting problems to Yahoo.

And since that original posting, they've also sent another e-mail that they've escalated the problem (or should I say problems!) to their engineering department, which is an indication of major problems, and not just a minor S/W "glitch."
Reply:My pleasure, and thanx 2 U, my friend 4 the vote %26amp; rating. It lasts for at least 6 months!!!

NOTE: Use BETA software at your own risk; it is intended for testing and evaluation purposes only. Do not install beta software on your primary computer or production environment. That was from Microsoft help pages.

My first suggestion is to use your ISP, Internet Service Provider mail accounts if you are having problems that can't be corrected by going back to IE6 and Yahoo! Original Mail!!!

To get in mail:

You will have less problems with original mail if you sign in via Messenger! Go to preferences, general, then check box: Automatically sign me in when I click a Yahoo! link in Messenger. Or go to My Yahoo and click on your mail link. Or Click on the Big RED Y! on the Yahoo! Toolbar. Bottom line is any link that already has you signed in!!!

This has been going on for over a couple of months now. It is a server problem between IE7 and BETA MAIL.

This is the only thing that I have found for a fix until testing is over. So, if you don't have BETA MAIL or IE 7 and are having some of the following problems, contact Technical Support: http://add.yahoo.com/fast/help/us/mail/c...

Error fixes on help pages were for Original Mail before Beta Mail was offered. That is why they don't seem to be helping very much since the testing has begun: http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/error...

These are the most resent problems reported to Yahoo! Questions:

CANNOT COMPOSE REPLY OR SEND MAIL

http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/send/...

YOUR LOG-IN SESSION HAS EXPIRED:

http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/acces...

CAN NOT FIND SERVER: Go to Tools, Internet Options and on the general tab, Delete Cookies, Temporary Files and Clear History. That should do it for you!

I believe it will solve MOST, MOST, all the problems people are having if you Switch Back to Original Mail, until it is out of the TESTING STAGE. AND IF YOU HAVE IE7 or IE8, uninstall it by going to Start Control Panel/Settings and then Add and Remove Programs. Try it and if it doesn't solve your problem just SWITCH BACK TO BETA MAIL!

Hope this helps you
Reply:Things are running smoothly on yahoo for me today. Answers account completely, but you can make it nearly invisible.

All the questions or answers you've submitted that are "in voting" or "resolved" are now permanently a part of Yahoo! Answers. Yahoo basically owns those answers. You can report your resolved questions and answers to Yahoo as "violating Community Guidelines" and they may remove your content at your request, but you also risk deletion of your entire account if you acquire too many violation notices.

You can delete any questions and answers you've posted that are still "open". Make sure to remove all questions from your watch list and remove all stars you've given to other people's questions.

Next, go to the "My Profile" link next to the "Search for Questions" options so that you're viewing your own profile. Then click the "Edit My Info" link to the right of your personal stats. The rest of what you need to do will be accomplished from that screen

Remove all personal information you've posted in your profile and make sure to disable the options to contact you by email or messenger. Also make sure to disable the link to your 360 (only for those who have a 360).

Then check the boxes that make your Q%26amp;A and your Contact Network hidden from all other users. This way no one can browse through your questions, answers and Y!Answers Network. Make sure to click "Preview" and then "Save" after you've made all these changes.

That's about as private as you can get.
Reply:You don't delete an Answers account, but you can simply stop using it. The only way to cancel would be to cancel the ENTIRE Yahoo account associated with the user name. If you don't want to do that, the best thing to do is to set your Q's %26amp; A's to private and to choose the option to not allow fans or contacts, and remove any personal information you may have added to your profile. You do that by going to your profile and clicking on "Edit My Info". Once you've made the suggested changes, be sure to click "Preview" and "OK" to save your changes. Then just don't use the site any more. All questions that have been resolved and answers to questions that have been resolved can not be deleted and remain the property of Yahoo. They can always be viewed if people come upon them in the cateogries in which they were placed.
Reply:Sorry, this is not possible. If you wish to have it completely deleted, you'll have to terminate your whole Yahoo! account as well.

The best method would be to simply remove all contacts and fans, make your profile private, disable email and IM communication, and (if you wanna go through the trouble) delete any questions and answers of yours that haven't been resolved.

Of course that won't have the same effect as deleting the whole account, but it's the best you can do.
Reply:it's impossible...

you use your yahoo Email in order to be able to ask, answe and discover questions on yahooAnswers..

if you don't want to go on it anymore, just simply not participate in yahoo answers activities !
Reply:You can't and anyway, deleting your account does not delete any answers you have given and any questions you have asked (and have any type of best answer) so why bother, just stop using it is the only advice I can give......
Reply:Yahoo answer comes with your yahoo email. That's like deleting the ability to message on myspace, but keep your myspace account..
Reply:Not possible, except by violating the community guidelines and having Yahoo! do it for you.
Reply:It's not. it all comes together. Just delete all your open questions, and don't open it anymore.
Reply:I am not sure if this will work but try... getting reported a whole bunch of times. I don't know if this will also delete your yahoo email but I doubt it.
Reply:why would you wanna delete yahoo answers :(

lol.

:)

honestly hunn, i dont know if you can, and if you could im not quit sure how.
Reply:Get yourself deleted by posting an obscene question.

No I'm just kidding. I don't really know how to delete it on my own free will.
Reply:you can't

its too late
Reply:you could prbably delete your yahoo profiile go to acount settings
Reply:its not possible
Reply:Just abuse a whole bunch of people and get your account suspended!
Reply:simply stop using yahoo answers
Reply:You cant, You would have to delete them both.

Silly i know!
Reply:mission impossible
Reply:I don't think its possible. I guess you'll just have to never go on Yahoo Answers ever again.
Reply:You just quit posting in Yahoo Answers
Reply:vote me as best answer and ur account will be deleted =)
Reply:i dont think u can but y would u wanna deleat it? just never go on it that way u have it for Q? u really need to ask
Reply:U can't or just stop going on yahoo answers
Reply:im like a firecracker, i make it hot.
Reply:IDK, srry?
Reply:i don't think it is possible. Just don't come on here anymore
Reply:lol that's funny

i'd like to delete mine too, but google answers doesn't exist no more
Reply:it wont happen srry
Reply:u cant

Myeshahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02844319678770988822noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5454351649161893251.post-67110549614078855962010-05-24T21:44:00.001-07:002010-05-24T21:44:27.603-07:00I need to stop my sister yahoo email account how do i do that?Unless you have the password or the personal info to get the password you can not stop her account.
