go to the following URL - http://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_user


enter your user name and password


u will be asked again to enter ur password.


enter ur password and click "Terminate this Account"

then control panel


then add and remove programs


look for yahoo messenger and yahoo tool bar at the bottom of the list


choose remove
