Suddenly I do not have to sign in with a password on my email account, which is worrying.?

I type in yahoo.com and it goes straight to my emails with no password etc needed. Very worrying.

Suddenly I do not have to sign in with a password on my email account, which is worrying.?
I'd be concerned too, that's not safe to have your account open with no password!

I noticed a new feature on the sign-in page on Yahoo... there is a box to check at sign-in that says something like "Keep me signed in for two weeks".... did you happen to check that box when you were signing in last time?

Be sure before you close your browser window to click 'sign out', do the same with your messenger. If this doesn't sign you out of your account, then you should probably contact customer service and ask them to help you with this problem.

Good luck!

:D
Reply:Go to mail setting and turn off the option that keeps you logged in for 2 weeks until you log out.
Reply:They got a two week log on time now. Took me a few times logging on to realize it too :)
Reply:Log out of your account, then go back to the log in screen and uncheck "remember me in this computer for 2 weeks"
Reply:Yahoo has introduced a new technology that keeps you logged on to yahoo services for two weeks until and unless you click sign out. You must have let a check box clicked, which tells that 'keep me logged on for 2 weeks unless i sign out'(not the exact words but this is what it means)

so wen ever u open your yahoo mail , it bypasses the asking of your password. This is safe if u r the only one using the computer, but if ne 1 else is using it, and if that person opens yahoo mail, ur account will open. To disable this, just signout from your mail the next time rather than jus closing it from the top.
Reply:is it on your own computer??? I know if you check the box keep me logged on for 2 weeks thats what it will do, but it should only be on your computer.
