Ref my email account. i feel like its been accessed by others. how can i tell if that has been done.?

i feel that a acquaintance has been trying to figure out my email account to read my emails. The possible address that the individual has is nikki5599@hotmail.com. There may be others. Any information you may provide would be appreciated

Like Gabriel said there is not anyway for you to determine if someone else has been accessing your account to read your email. You might check your "sent" folder" to see if they have used your account to send any mail, it may confirm your suspicions. Again back to Gabriel's answer follow his suggestions for changing your password.

Reply:if the person is trying to check ur mail with the right password,the person will request for the password,and the confirmation will be sent to your email,u must not confirm it,u can then report it as spam
Reply:Seeing as this is a hotmail account you cannot really determine if someone has been loggin in that is not you.





If you owned the computer the email server was on you could check access logs and setup logon auditing and other things like that. But for hotmail if they know your password there is no way to tell if someone has been accessing it other than you.





Change your password to a complex (Upper, Lower, alpha, numeric and special characters) password and do not share it.
